“When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”

-Fred Rogers-

It’s okay to not be okay.

Are you or someone you love struggling with stress, anger, or sadness? Worrying excessively? Experiencing unpredictable emotions? Impulsivity? Have you tried different things and nothing seems to be working?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have made the right choice by being here. I want to praise you for the brave steps you have taken and will continue to take through this process. We will work together to fill your toolbox with the skills needed to take control of your emotions and conquer life’s challenges.

I understand that no two people or cases are the same. Our sessions will be adapted to address challenges unique to you. Together we will work to understand the source of your struggles; whether you're struggling with a history of trauma and/or abuse or working through recent life changes. We will work together to identify your goals or the goals for your child(ren) and regularly address progress made towards those goals. I welcome client and family feedback and insight, as I’ve learned and continue to learn a great deal from the individuals and families I work with.

I am a firm believer that everyone needs someone to talk to. No life scenario or misstep is too small to seek support. Family drama, let’s talk about it. You’re having relationship issues, let’s talk about it. You feel like you’re failing in different aspects of life, let’s talk about it. Your car won’t start, let’s talk about it. Your anxiety is making it harder and harder to breathe, let’s talk about it. The store didn’t have your favorite type of chips, let’s talk about it. You find yourself getting angry over small things, let’s talk about it.

You’re not alone, I will be with you every step of the way.

I’m here, I’m ready to talk, I’m ready to listen.

You’ve got this.

I look forward to joining you and your family on your journey. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions.
